And we have a name!

Hey guys! I have officially given the company a name - Two Sets of Wings.

I am going to call it this, because when you start the process of learning to fly, you typically have two different kinds of lessons. First, you have on-ground lessons, where you learn the basics of flying, how the plane works and the forces that work for/against it. These are essential if you are even hoping to get in the left seat of a plane and get ready to take off!

Ross Parmly
If you don't understand the mechanics of flying, you will never be able to truly comprehend flight and how it works. Once you begin to learn how the plane works, you already have a fundamental idea of how anything is capable of flying. This, in my mind, is the first set of wings you get.

The second set of wings a pilot-in-training will get (metaphorically and then physically when that pilot gets their private license) is when he or she steps in the plane and takes off. This step is not only mind-blowing, but it is also empowering. Once a student gets the opportunity to take this step and - later - fly the plane solo, it truly feels like there is no obstacle they can not hack.

Ultimately, I think there are also a variety of other ways that a person could look at the name. For instance, one could say that we already have a set of wings when we're born (metaphorically) and that the second set is when they get to fly physically. â€‹
