I have identified my next article idea for QU Journalism! In the course of writing this next article, I will also be researching for "First Wings!"
Amidst this time in quarantine, I have been hearing rumors that our carbon emissions are significantly lower than before the pandemic spread. I've seen photos of mountains in India are now visible because the air pollution has grown better since January.
So, in the meantime, I was thinking.. where are carbon emissions in reality? Are we going down, as is being predicted? Has it remained level, as home electricity continues to produce the same amount of energy that would be produced in normal, everyday life? Has it risen?
My goal is to answer this question. Going forward in the next few weeks, I'm going to get to research all of this and learn more! In the meantime, as well, I will also be doing research for First Wings! Learning how much carbon is produced on a daily basis, via air travel or car travel will be essential to the business. If, in the end, the base of the First Wings business model is that the new generation of pilots will be energy economically aware and seeking new ways to make the industry sustainable, shouldn't this be research be conducted anyways?
